American Legion – Elgin Post 57 Membership
Open to veterans, active duty, and military families
The American Legion was built by veterans, for veterans – and Post 57 is your local chapter right here in Elgin. Joining means more than a membership card. It means standing with people who understand the life you’ve lived, having a place to decompress, access to real resources when you need them, and the satisfaction of giving back to your community.
We’re veterans, spouses, sons and daughters, and neighbors who believe that service doesn’t end when you come home. Post 57 is where that commitment continues – through the people who show up, the causes we rally behind, and the community we’ve built over more than a hundred years in Elgin. Whether you’re looking for camaraderie, resources, or just a good place to spend a Tuesday night, you’ll find it here.
