American Legion Auxiliary – Elgin Post 57
Serving veterans, families, and the Elgin community through service, patriotism, and volunteerism
The American Legion Auxiliary is one of the nation’s largest patriotic service organizations dedicated to supporting veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families. For generations, Auxiliary members have strengthened communities through volunteer work, education programs, outreach efforts, and charitable service.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Female veterans and female relatives of qualifying veterans
At Elgin Post 57, the Auxiliary proudly continues that tradition by supporting local veterans, organizing community initiatives, assisting with post activities, and contributing to charitable causes throughout the Elgin area. From patriotic events and fundraising efforts to youth programs and veteran support, our members remain committed to serving both those who served and the community around us.
Whether you’re looking to volunteer, meet new people, support veterans, or become part of a meaningful organization, we welcome you to learn more about the American Legion Auxiliary.

JOIN THE AUXILIARY
If you are interested in joining the American Legion Auxiliary or the Junior Auxiliary, membership applications are available in the lobby of Post 57 or through the Adjutant’s office.
MONTHLY MEETINGS
The Auxiliary meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm, excluding January and July.
Visitors and prospective members are always welcome to attend and learn more about the Auxiliary and its mission.
