We help veterans navigate benefits, healthcare, and support services.
American Legion Post 57 is committed to helping veterans and their families access the support, benefits, and services they’ve earned through military service. Whether you need help navigating VA healthcare, filing for benefits, or connecting with local resources, our team and partner organizations are here to help.
Veterans Benefits
Representatives are available at Post 57 every Fourth Friday from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Veterans can meet with Service Officers and support staff from:
Kane County Veterans Assistance Commission
Hanover Township
Hines VA Hospital
Additional employment and career resources are often available through the State of Illinois, the Elgin Chamber of Commerce, and Elgin Community College.
